I’ve been a member of Watford Camera Club for many years, and for a while I got quite caught up in the competition scene. I even managed to win a few things along the way!

Every photograph here picked up a first place award in a club competition or exhibition. Some were for set subjects, others were anything goes, and a few are triptychs.

It seems the judges and I occasionally saw eye to eye. I try not to let it go to my head.
